Chris Mihlfeld has worked as a Professional Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Kansas City Royals from 1998 through 2004. Mihlfeld was directly involved in Player Development programs with both the Devil Rays and Dodger minor league systems where he developed and implemented all strength and conditioning programs and also assisted with hitting,infield, and catching instruction. As the Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Kansas City Royals Baseball Club Mihlfeld was strictly assigned to develop and supervise all strength and conditioning programs from the Major league Club throughout the entire minor league system. Mihlfeld served as an Associate Scout for the Kansas City Royals Baseball Organization from 1995-1998, received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 1995, has a BS in Physical Education, and MS work in Exercise Physiology from Central Missouri State University. A two sport athlete who received All-American honors (NCAA Champion) in wrestling and was a 4 time All-Conference third baseman in Baseball was inducted into the Central Missouri State University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002 and the Missouri State High School Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2005. Mihlfeld spent 2 seasons as the Assistant Baseball Coach at Central Missouri State (1991-1993) and was the Head Baseball Coach at Maple Woods Community College from 1994-1998 where the 1998 team finished 5th in the Junior College World Series. Mihlfeld is the Owner of Millhouse AEP and will construct all Team, Pitching, Hitting, Fielding, and Strength and Conditioning Developmental and Instructional Programs.
Kyle McCune has served as Assistant Baseball Coach at Central Missouri State University (1991) and Maple Woods Community College (1994-2005). McCune was a standout player at Maple Woods Community College (1988-1989) and Central Missouri State University (1990-1991) where he received All-American honors as a senior. McCune signed a professional contract with the Houston Astros in 1991. McCune will supervise all aspects of Millhouse including Pitching, Hitting , Fielding, Strength and Conditioning Programs, all coaches, and players.
David Wilson is entering his 15th year of coaching and is the Head Baseball Coach at Staley HS. Wilson has an overall Coaching Record of 114-83
and District/Play-Off Record of 20-6. Wilson played College Baseball at Maple Woods CC from 1987-1989 where he was a starting pitcher and firstbaseman, then on to Central Missouri State University where he played baseball and recived his BS in Physical Education. Wilson will supervise all aspects of Millhouse including Pitching, Hitting , Fielding, Strength and Conditioning Programs, all coaches, and players. His coaching resume is listed below:

Clifton Glidewell is the Head Pitching Instructor for the Millhouse Program. Glidewell spent 2 seasons at both Maple Woods CC and Northwestern Louisiana as a starting pitcher. Glidewell was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 30th round in 2000 and will assist Strength and Conditioning Instruction. Glidewell receive his BA in Management from Mid America Nazarene in 2005 and is the Assistant Baseball Coach at Oak Park High School.
Rick Prieto spent 13 seasons in organized Professional Baseball where he played both infield and outfield for several different organizations. Prieto was drafted in the 28th round in the 1993 amatuer draft by the Cleveland Indians out of San Jose City College and is from Carmel, CA. Prieto will assist with Hitting, Fielding, and Strength and Conditioning Instruction at Millhouse. Please read link below for playing career in detail.
Troy Andrews is in his second year as the Head Baseball Coach for the Oak Park Northmen, taking them to a 3rd place finish in last years Class 4 State Baseball Championship. Two years Head Baseball Coach for Lansing High School in Lansing Kansas. Class 5 State Baseball Tournament appearance in 2006. Head Assistant and Pitching Coach for Dodge City Kansas for nine years. Class 6 State Baseball Champions in 1999 and 3rd Place in 1998. Coach Andrews has also been involved with coaching summer American Legion Baseball for five years and is the Head Coach for the high school Millhouse team.
Matt Schweitzer is an Assistant Baseball Coach at Staley High School. As an undrafted pitcher he has played professionally for the the last 10 years between affiliated/independent baseball organizations. He signed with Kansas City Royals as a free agent in 2004 and has played the last 2 years out in Maryland in the Atlantic League, where he was an All-Star in 2008. Matt went to college at Olivet Nazarene University (NAIA) in Chicago (1996-2000) earning his BA in Business Marketing. He was named as an NAIA All-American his senior year in 2000 and was recently inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame in November. Schweitzer will assist with every aspect of baseball and strength and conditioning instruction at Millhouse.
Pierre Burris is entering is 18th year of formal baseball instruction. Burris was a standout 3 sport athlete at Raytown South HS (Baseball, Basketball, Football) in the mid 80’s before attending Kansas City Kansas CC and the University of Kansas. He was drafted in the 39th round of the 1990 amateur baseball draft by the Cincinnati Reds as an outfielder and was converted to a pitcher in 1992 after a back injury. Pierre will assist with every aspect of baseball and strength and conditioning instruction at Millhouse.
Alex Ross was a standout performer on the Millhouse 18U team in 2007 as a starting pitcher and outfielder. Ross was a starting pitcher at Maple Woods CC in 08 and 2009 and was a 2 sport standout athlete at Oak Park HS in Kansas City in both football and baseball. Alex is currently attending David Lipscom University in Nashville, TN where he is a pitcher on the Baseball team. Ross will assist with every aspect of baseball and strength and conditioning instruction at Millhouse.
Bret Patterson was a 2 sport athlete at Bishop Ward HS in Kansas City in both basketball and baseball. In baseball Bret was a 4 year letterman and played on 4 state championship teams, graduating in 2007. Bret is currently William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. where he is an infielder on the Baseball team. Patterson will assist with every aspect of baseball and strength and conditioning instruction at Millhouse and has been a Millhouse instructor since 2008.
